David Paul Martin returns to Barrel 41! First appearing with his band at the Barrel 41 HAKAS Festival this summer, he’s back with his solo show. With a more intimate, laid-back feel, Martin will share new songs, new stories, and most of all the musical sweetness that you may not realize your ears and your heart have been longing for.
David Paul Martin is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Neenah, WI. Penning his songs with a thoughtful honesty and simple poetry, David’s genre-hopping sound could be described as the lyrical sensibilities of Ben Rector, the soulfulness of Leon Bridges, the stylings of City and Color, and the funky energy of Stevie Wonder, all emulsified together with a jazzy major 7th twist.
